Welcome to Anvil Theatre. We want you to have a memorable and enjoyable experience with us. Here you’ll find all you need to know ahead of your upcoming visit to the theatre.

Location, Directions and Parking

Anvil Theatre is located on the third floor of Anvil Centre. Its convenient location makes it easily accessible by transit and highways!

Immediately across the Anvil Centre on Eighth Street is the New Westminster SkyTrain station. Less than a 30-minute ride from downtown Vancouver, the New Westminster station is serviced by the Expo Line, as well as buses with connections to Uptown New Westminster, Coquitlam and Burnaby.

New Westminster is a home zone for EVO. There is generally an EVO close by ready for your return. Visit: www.evo.ca

Parking tips:

Anvil Centre features three levels of underground parking with 270 stalls. Parkade access is on Eighth Street.

Parking is also available at two large nearby parkades. Adjacent to Anvil Centre is the Shops at New West multi-level parkade, located at the corner of Eighth Street and Columbia St. The Front Street Parkade, accessed from Fourth and Sixth Streets and just south of Columbia, offers reasonably priced hourly and daily parking rates.

Concession & Bar

Our concession & bar is located in the level 3 lobby, on the same level as the theatre. It operates on a show-by-show basis, so please check your “Know Before You Go” email ahead of your event for the most up-to-date information. You’ll find a selection of snacks, soft drinks, coffee, other hot beverages, and a variety of beer and wine.

New Westminster Museum & Archives contains more than 70,000 archival objects, records and photographs of New Westminster’s history.

The Community Art Gallery forges creative dialogue and celebrates emerging and established artists working in two dimensional media in our city.

Dine and Explore #DowntownNewWest

Indulge your taste buds at Piva Modern Italian, located on the first floor. Otherwise, just steps from Anvil Centre, you’ll find an eclectic choice of cuisines from casual to fine dining.

Shopping in New West is an adventure unto itself. Explore the shops along famed Antique Alley on Front St., browse the unique mix of home décor, hobbies and crafts, and clothing stores on charming Columbia St., or head to uptown New Westminster, jam-packed with shops and buzzing with activity.
