The Cat’s Meow at the Anvil

Join the Uptown Swing Collective in Downtown New West for an evening of jazz, dancing and merriment at The Cat’s Meow at the Anvil! We’ll have lots of space for dancing, as well as cabaret seating for those of you that prefer to sit back and enjoy the show.

Live music by the Mira Dasu Quintet, followed by The Rugcutter Jazz Band featuring Mira Dasu will keep your toes tapping all night long.

Mira Dasu will be teaching workshops during the day and singing lead with the band in the evening. She is an incredibly skilled singer, dancer, and performer. She has released two singles, and was a finalist in the Karaoke World Championships.

Evening Schedule:

7:00 pm Doors open
7:15 pm Beginner swing dance lesson
8:00 pm Live music and social dancing (until 10:30 pm)
