The Brad Turner Quartet

The Brad Turner Quartet (Brad Turner, piano; Darren Radtke, bass; Bernie Arai, drums, Jack Duncan, percussion) is a mainstay on the Vancouver jazz scene. Drawing from a large repertoire of original compositions and interpretations of standard tunes, this group is an exciting and highly interactive unit, exploring varied musical avenues, from free improvisation to structured composition and groove based themes. Between them, the members of the band have worked and/or recorded with (among others) Joe Lovano, Kenny Werner, Gary Bartz, Ingrid Jensen, Bill Frisell, Kenny Wheeler, Cedar Walton, Joanne Brakeen, Renee Rosnes, and John Scofield among others.
