Junior Coquitlam Youth Theatre presents Antigone After Sophocles 

This is the story of Antigone, princess of Thebes. Her father and mother died tragically, and her brothers have also died after a civil war. The next king, her uncle Creon declared one of her family members will not be buried. Will Antigone follow the new law, or will the love of family supersede this decree? This gripping tale of state versus home pushes us to think how far we would go for family.

Coquitlam Youth Theatre presents Once Upon a Pine: The Adventures of Pinocchio by Tommy Jamerson 

A group of travelling players share a quirky, poignant and playful take on Pinocchio, a puppet who learns what it means to be human. Follow Pinocchio as he meets his father, a manipulative carnival barker, a crusty cricket and the beautiful blue-haired fairy. This is a fast-paced imagining of Carlo Collodi’s beloved character.
