Announcing the 206/27 Royal Canadian Theatre Company Season

Royal Canadian Theatre Company is returning to New Westminster for the 2026-27 season! There are two plays here at Anvil Theatre in Downtown New West, and the beloved pantomime is in Uptown at Massey Theatre.

Murder For Two
October 2-4, 2026, Anvil Theatre
Murder for Two is the story of a disastrous surprise birthday party for novelist Arthur Whitney as one of the guests murdered the novelist. First on the scene is small-town cop Marcus Moscowicz, who has dreams of becoming a big-city detective, and solving this case in record time could be his ticket to the big time. There are 13 suspects and they all have good reason to want Whitney dead and buried, so Moscowicz has his job cut out for him.

Jack and the Beanstalk
December 31, 2026 – January 3, 2027, Massey Theatre
Follow Jack Trott and his family as they battle the evil forces in Witt’s End. Can they find enough funds to buy back their farm? How far will they go to save their village from bankruptcy? Silly gags, popular songs and heroes to cheer on make this Pantomime a must see!
